It's a count down to the end of 2024 and the big end of the year celebration that comes with it. But wait a minute didn't we just say Happy New Year to welcome 2023? Of course yes. And if you did not join the Saturday Morning Entertainment Show it may have just passsed you by. I am sure that some people missed. Man this is becoming like Audley's birthday. So that's why The Saturday Morning Entertainment Show is the best place to be. But in addition to celbrating all the wonderful people and events we entertain a conversation to give the fans a moment to chime in. So, Let's Talk. Recent exit polls are showing that the last presidential election results are much closer than as fist calculated. But, it does not matter because the president has already been determined by the electoral college votes of which Donald Trump held 312 by the end of the count on election night. Different democracies use different methods to determine who sits in the seat and weild the autthority of Government. However, we have always been told that in a democracy, it is the vote of the majority determines who holds public office. However, in American election process we have seen a number of occasion where the majority of the people choose one person to be president but the electoral college votes determine who holds the office. Is this a contradiction to the concept of democracy? Does this means according to the rhetoric, your vote your voice does not count unless it conforms to the numbers of the electoral college? So why does not the electoral college vote to choose the president? Does your vote has the value that they tell you it does? Come on in. Join the Conversation or tell us what you want to talk about. We are always happy to hear from you. .
