Henyard, the Village of Dolton, and Thornton Township in which Henyard's former assistant alleged to have been sexually assaulted by a village trustee and subsequently retaliated against by Henyard. The investigation stems from two separate complaints about the matter. Both complainants asked the Illinois Department of Human Rights to help them to receive back pay, front pay, attorney's fees, and punitive damages.
