Welp, another week, another bloodbath. Seven Top 25 teams lost this week, including THREE in the Top 10. One, # 5 Indiana, has a semi-excuse, going into Columbus. And they played O$U tough, for the most part. But #7 Bama (who, IMO, was definitely overrated and "protected" by the CFP Committee) and # 9 Ole Miss losing to .500 teams? Meanwhile, in addition to the $EC possibly losing big in terms of CFP "strength", the Big 12 also did itself no favors. BYU lost its second game in a row, along with Colorado becoming Kansas's third straight Top 25 victim, put Iowa State back in the Conference Championship Game picture. In the ACC, who'd believe SMU is the frontrunner after Week 13?! And my Iowa Hawkeyes went on the road, albeit Maryland, and took out the Terps with a well-executed ground game, along with the leg of Drew Stevens, to take a 29-13 win. But the week in Iowa City is not without drama, as media and fan rumors have basically tarnished the whole process of allowing payers a little leeway, not to mention grace. Avid Mike and I will be discussing all this at 8a ET, Sunday 11/24/2024. Hear us online, join us in chat, or call in via phone at (319)-527-6706!
