For award-winning author Bettye Johnson, inspiration is everywhere. From her personal memoirs to her magnificent works about Mary Magdalena, Bettye has released seven books with her latest work set for release in November 2013 entitled Magdalena of Hy Brazil.

“I write about what I know and I love having the opportunity to share these stories with others,” exclaims Johnson. From Texas to Paris, Tokyo to Washington, Bettye has seen many fascinating parts of the world living through many extraordinary circumstances and events.

With a passion for writing since childhood, Bettye’s professional writing career began less than ten years ago. In this short time, she’s released seven works and received numerous awards including the Independent Publisher Book Award in 2006 and 2008.
