Marta from (Madrid, Spain) began the final round of the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship on Sunday at Battle Creek Country Club trailing 36-hole leader Silvia Cavalleri by two shots. She erased that deficit with a 7-under par 65 performance to finish at 13-under overall and step into the winner's circle for the first time in her Symetra Tour career. Following the victory, Sanz Barrio climbed 43 spots in the Volvik Race for the Card to No. 29. The top-10 at the end of the season earn LPGA Tour membership for 2019.
