THIS IS A REPLAY EPISODE FROM DECEMBER 13, 2021
Oppression is when a person or group of people who have power use it in a way that is not fair, unjust or cruel. It can also describe the feeling of people who are oppressed. Oppressive governments can lead to a rebellion. Ecclesiastes 4:1 states, "So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter."
Min. Karmen A. Booker reminds the listener there is a Comforter promised by Christ Himself, who will protect and shield the Believer from oppression.
