Watermelon Girl!
After being propelled to infamy with her third acquittal for allegedly trafficking in "ginger snap cookies" on Vancouver's clothing optional Wreck Beach, Watermelon showed her true colors. That willingness to stand up and fight against any would be oppressors resonates with her many fans. Whether it's the fight against Marihuana Prohibition, unlawful Vancouver "Renovictions", or your right to watch the sunset, Ms. Melon rarely shrinks from the opportunity to take a stand. Her Marihuana Pin Up project with long time photographer Maria Coletsis is a steady seller. Watermelon has appeared on the magazine covers of High Times, Cannabis Culture, Skunk, Canamo, and ISmoke. She is a one-time centerfold and two- time calendar girl with all 12 pages of Watermelon costumed as various female legends such as Cleopotra, Marihuana Monroe, Jungle Mary Jane, Little Miss Puffet, Betty Bud and a bevvy of others. Now producing her second marihuana cooking show, Baking A Fool Of Myself, she hopes to help as many people as she can who use marihuana as medicine by offering these free, easy to follow, online videos. She employs her real world mom as her sidekick.
Check out her first marihuana cooking show titled High Times Presents, Watermelon's Baked & Baking starring The Tall Brothers, Christine "Tiny" Taylor and Irwin Barker. Watermelon loves to tango dance, tell jokes, sell watermelon slices naked on the beach, eat her greens, stand up for herself, get lots of sleep, smoke pot, hold dinner parties, and study Spanish as a requirement toward her Philosophy degree in Applied Ethics.
