October 15, 2014 - Let's Honor the game, or it will not honor us!!  Today's program is an interview with 3 collegiate coaches that discuss the impact of the ITA agenda to shorten collegiate matches which leads to less competitive opportunities for their players.   Two Division III coaches talk about the importance of preserving traditional tennis from the educational perspective of their athletes and how abbreviated styles dilute and dumb-down this opportunity.  Two young coaches talk about their motivation for the pursuit of a coaching career and how the future may be looking tenuous if the sport is continued to be diminished.  The message to all is to honor the game first as an educational tool and worry about entertainment value second.
