Maxwell Ivey is a totally blind business owner, blogger, sometimes podcaster, and newly self published author of the book, "leading you out of the darkness into the light," a blind man's inspirational guide to success. His primary business is helping people sell new and used amusement equipment and related items. He started after the early death of his father lead to the closure of his family's small traveling carnival. While building that business, he had to learn many things including marketing, how to hand code html, start a blog, record videos, use social media create newsletters, and much more. He also lost over 250 pounds after having gastric surgery along with eating healthier regular exercise and a positive attitude.

A little over a year ago his friends persuaded him that he had more to offer and should be sharing his story of inspiration. He disagreed, but they made the argument that there are far too many people in the world with no physical disability who are doing nothing with their lives. So, he relented and started a second website where he shares more personal stories about being a blind entrepreneur.

From that he wrote an ebook called leading you out of the darkness into the light, a blind man's inspirational guide to success. In it he shares the life lessons he's learned and he encourages the reader to write to him with their progress.
