Sean Askandari was born and raised in Houston, Tx. A big fan of street photography, street style blogs and all things Houston, he spent one night looking up Houston street style photography blogs on Google. He only came across a few but they were very inconsistent having 2 to 3 months between posts. So in January of 2012 he bought his first camera and in March of that year he decided to use the SXSW Festival as the starting point of the blog....and DRESS YO SELF was born. DRESS YO SELF is his way of showing the rest of the world that Houston isn't the boring, ugly city that the main stream media makes it out to be. DRESS YO SELF is his contribution to the city he loves.
