SGWS salute to Nitro

On the 25th anniversary of the debut of WCW Monday Nitro, we are going to be remembering that iconic show. Although it was only on the air for under six years, it changed the industry. From the first show where we saw them wrestle at Mall of America and feature the shocking return of Lex Luger to the last show where we saw them wrestling at a spring break venue and featuring the shocking simulcast with Raw a ton of historical things happened. Stars such as AJ Styles, Billy Kidman, Lodi, and Bill Goldberg all got their first national noteriety on Nitro. Stars such as DDP, Sting, Booker T, and Hulk Hogan all became mega stars on Nitro. We saw such notable things as Scott Hall defecting to WCW, Bret Hart's tribute match for his late brother Owen, Sting dropping from the rafters to battle the nWo, and The Warrior's shocking return to wrestling all on Nitro. We fondly remember things such as The Nitro Girls, Eric Bischoff giving away results for Raw, and Rick Rude's shocking appearance live on Nitro while being on a taped Raw. We'll bring some people that know all about the Nitro era and talk about this well loved show.
