@ 2 Jenny Pagliaro: As inspiring as she is talented, when this singer/songwriter, a member of Roses & Cigarettes, sings the National Anthem at the opening of Susan G. Komen Los Angeles County's Race for the Cure® on March 11, the words will hold more meaning than most people can imagine. Jenny is a breast cancer survivor. A big part of her journey is about the disease not holding her back from chasing her dreams. Be More Than Pink... Jenny definitely is. The back story: When Roses & Cigarettes released their debut album in May of 2015, singer Jenny Pagliaro and guitarist Angela Petrilli were anxious to get out into the clubs to promote it by playing the songs live. Those plans were put on hold in early July when Pagliaro was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer and immediately began treatment. Now, after two surgeries and eight rounds of chemo, Jenny has been declared cancer-free and is anxious to get back to work.http://www.rosesandcigarettes.com
