Good morning, today on The Meter we will cover the United States Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, the 1973 decision that made abortion legal throughout the land. The reversal of the 49 year landmark action sparked demonstrations all over America both for protest and support. Pro-life groups celebrated the decision by celebrating life while pro-choice groups called it setback of 50 for women's reproductive rights. 13 States have trigger laws in place to immediately ban abortion while a dozen others are poised to ban abortion in the coming weeks. Joe Biden has promised executive action to halt the new frontier on abortion by saying this fight is not over. Democrats plan to make the landmark June 24 decision their mantra in the upcoming midterms. How do you feel about the Fall of Roe? Also, in another Supreme Court case Second Amendment Rights were protected in New York striking down a law prohibiting the right to carry. New York Governor Kathy Hochul decried the decision and said violence and murder will skyrocket in the State and turn the New York City subway into a battle zone. The NRA and gun rights' advocates cheered the decision. Will the pro-carry ruling protect innocent lives in NY and resonate all over America? Joe Biden's competence is once again making headlines. This week Biden inadvertently revealed an instruction card, for him. The card told Biden when to speak, sit, stand, question, thank, smile, and leave the room. This comes as leaks from his own party show they don't expect to renominate Biden in 2024. Is this enough to replace the Democrat Party ticket in the next presidential election?
