After 20 years of US involvement in that country following the September 11th terrorist attacks, 3,000 American soldiers lost, $2T spent, the Tailban has entered the capital of Kabul as the US rushes to evacuate the embassy, reminiscent of Siagon in 1975. Joe Biden has publicly and politely asked the Tailban not to attack during the US withdrawal. What went wrong in Afghanistan?
