Biden Bungles

Good morning, today on The Meter we will cover the cease fire between Israel and Hamas militants. The Egyptian president brokered the settlement after 11 days of rockets fired into Israel and air strikes against Hamas positions. 200 Palestinians were reported to have been killed as well as 20 Israeli civilians. The situation appears to be holding, but tensions remain high in the region. What if any solution could end this conflict? Also, his first act in office was to shutdown the Keystone Pipeline and eliminate 12,000 American jobs. But, Joe Biden cleared the way for a Russian Pipeline to be built to Germany, bypassing Ukraine and after Russian hackers shutdown the Colonial Pipeline in America causing 1970's style line at filling stations all over the Eastern US. Gas prices have soared and some stations remain closed. Why is Biden being so hypocritical? The anti-police movement continues in New York as the LGBT+ pride has barred the police from the parades until 2025. The leaders of the march has also said that gay police officers in plain cloths are still not welcome. All this while defunded police departments are causing crime to skyrocket in poor and minority communities. Is this the right message to sent? The January 6 commission that passed the House fell apart in the Senate under the lead of Mitch McConnell.
