Good morning, today on The Meter we will cover the ongoing conflict between Hamas and Israel. Iranian backed Hamas has been firing rockets from The Gaza Strip and Israel is hitting Hamas with air strikes and threatening a ground invasion. T he death toll is mounting and the end is no where in sight. Who is at fault in the conflict? At the US Southern border, migrants continue to flow into the US by the thousands. The Biden administration is now feeling the heat from border state Democrats as public services are overwhelmed. In response, Biden quietly ordered resumption of the Border Wall. Should the US close the border? This week a cyber attack on a US pipeline caused a disruption in delivery of crude oil and long lines at gas stations. On the East Coast many states are mostly out of gas. A $5 million ransom was paid to the Russian hackers. Joe Biden refused a question if he authorized the payment but vehemently said Vladimir Putin was not connected. Is US security in decline under Biden? On the US political front Liz Cheney was ousted from her leadership role by the Republican Party. Cheney became a harsh critic of President Trump after the January 6th protest. Cheney is continuing to double down on her opposition to Donald Trump. Is this a good move for the Republican Party? The economic problems continue as inflation, prices, and shortages are surging in America. The job numbers are stagnant as millions prefer unemployment benefits with the extra $300 federal supplement added to regular State benefits. Is this a strong sample of the type of socialism pushed by the Democrat Party? The CDC has OK'd the removal of masks for those fully vaccinated.
