The Obama impact

Today on The Meter, we discuss the 2014 Senate elections and the GOP chances of winning a majority. Also, a look around the world as violence grips Ukraine and Venezuela as we have yet to hear US President Barack Obama on either. In Ukraine a possible coup as occurred as parliament has granted power to the speaker as President Viktor Yanukovych seems to have been driven from power. In Venezuela Nicolas Maduro has asked for talks with Barack Obama as riots are overwhelming his government. At  home President Obama is supporting a bill to raise the minimum wage to $10.10 per hour.
