Welcome to the CUSP Show, Basketball Edition. For the next couple of weeks, we will have an additional podcast where we dive into the stories of the people that make Columbia Men’s and Women’s Basketball so great.
For our eighth episode, we have Devon Roeper, member of the Columbia University’s Women’s Basketball team, joining us this week for a conversation on collegiate basketball and sports philanthropy. Hailing from San Diego California, Devon is a senior of the Women’s Basketball team, Least season, she was named the ivy league honor roll three times and has always been a key player of the team.
In this episode, Devon talks to Joe and Tom about being a student-athlete at Columbia and she also shares the fascinating story behind her philanthropic sports work, setting up basketball teams in Uganda.
