Chris Eubank Jr. is in the headlines again after getting in a social media argument with WBC cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew, and according to Bellew's promoter, the Eubanks weren't doing it just for publicity. Eubank, who just made a move up to 168lbs. called out Bellew, a cruiserweight/heavyweight for a catchweight bout. And per Eddie Hearn's discussion with IFL TV, "[Eubank] Senior messaged me and asked if there were any legs in this [fight] and I was just.... [Bellew is] 15 stone and he wants to fight Tony Bellew. A middleweight calling out a heavyweight. I don't know what to say...It was bizarre. And they are actually saying 'do you want to have a chat about this?' and I'm like 'no.' I told [Bellew] that [they contacted me] and he was like 'what?' He just thought it was half a joke on Twitter. But Eubank likes calling out these guys, it gets people talking about him, but he just never fights them, that's all."
