Gennady Golovkin vs. Daniel Jacobs New York City Press Conference Review

The promotion for the “MIDDLEWEIGHT MADNESS” showdown between Kazakh native, Gennady “GGG” Golovkin and Brooklyn's own, Daniel “Miracle Man” Jacobs started with a bang today in New York City with its first of two press conferences. Today in New York City and Los Angeles on Wednesday, January 11, respectively. The press conference which was not open to the public was held at Madison Square Garden, the location of the PPV bout on March 18th. 

Over social media, the hashtag #GGGJacobs was trending for a fight that is more than two months away, a great sign for K2 which looks to rebound in GGG’s second PPV card after a disappointing buy rate for Golovkin vs. Lemieux in October of 2015. 

Nestor “Nes” Gibbs Boxing MD and Matthew “The Editor” Hunter will talk about today’s event with the TBV family.
