There may, or may not be certain job patterns, or behaviors that run in your family. Does that mean that it can't happen to you, or for you? We are tribal people. For the most part, we believe that if someone in our family can do something, then someone else in our family can follow suit and hopefully it's for the positive. It's not always positive. We don't always want to accept that most of the people in our families are jailbirds, liars, thieves, deadbeat dads, or teenage babymommas. Unfortunately, those things happen too and it doesn't mean that that cycle has to continue and won't be forever broken. Should be use our family members as examples of what we have the chance to be, any more than what we could point to in any other random person as an example? For example, A large amount of Black men are incarcerated in their lifetime. Does it mean that, as a Black man who doesn't have any family members incarcerated, that my chances are better that I won't be?
That's what we're talking about tonight at 7PM ET on The Daily Gogetemism Show. Check this out: https://youtube.com/live/mg_Psyqa2NU?feature=share
