You and Your Needy Enemies.

They say that a movement can survive without a God, but it can't survive without a devil. In other words, people will support a movement that doesn't guarantee that they will be everlasting life, goodness, or rewards, but they won't join a movement that doesn't have the purpose of an enemy. They won't stay focused on a way of life that doesn't have any opposition. It's a strange phenomenon, but there is some validity to it. People need to know that they are doing the right thing against the bag guy. What may be strange about this is that the so-called enemy probably feels that exact same way. Have you ever seen a situation where an enemy remained an enemy when the enemy ignored them time and again? We don't think about this kind of stuff all the time, do we? Tonight, we will. Let's talk.
