Black people are never short of labels and stereotypes. We do this. We do that. We don't do this. We don't do that. How much of it is true? What defines what a strong, independent Black woman is and why would Black men be intimidated by them? There seem to be so many divisive themes aimed at dividing the Black man and woman. What has been our role in fostering themes like this? Are we helping, or hurting ourselves with this type of rhetoric?

Why would Black men have reservations about hooking up with Black women who exhibit strength and independence? Who are Black women showing strength and independence against? Are we at proverbial odds with each other? Is it even real? Well known, up and coming Hypnotherapist Belvin Jessup will be our in-studio guest today to discuss this very important matter. Let's do this.

That's what we're talking about today at 1:30PM ET on The Urban Therapy with Sun Show. Check this out:  https://youtu.be/UmSmL1XjHOI
