As the old saying goes: They hate me, because they can't be me! Well, it's not really an old saying and may not often apply to a situation, but when it does, it sticks hard. When someone tries to undermine you, they put your authority, or your position in question. They may do it face-to-face, of they may do it around others. They make it obvious that they don't respect who, or what you are. and they usually try to get others to question it too. An example of this may be when a subordinate employee tries to show a supervisor, or manager that they are not the boss. They might do it by showing that they can get around following their rules, or they may do it by going over your head to get something that they want. In your personal life, people may try to undermine you by trying to diminish your sense of self. Sometimes by pointing out mistakes that you have made with other people, or at other times. They'll do this when your confidence seems to be at a high point. How do you deal with a person who tries to undermine you? Let's talk about this.
That's what we're talking about tonight at 7PM ET on The Daily Gogetemism Show. Check this out: https://youtu.be/utnPhF2t1ts
