People may have said discouraging words to you when you were younger. That's something that people do to people who they are jealous of, or do not like for some reason. When you tell a child that they are ugly, or stupid, or worthless, or bad, or unworthy, or isn't special, or inferior, or not good enough, or is subpar, or is just okay, etc., you can break a child's spirit, especially if favor is shown to another child who is close to that child. It can make a child jealous, envious, bitter and depressed, in extreme situations. Fast forward to when we become adults. What happens when you become the subject of jealousy, rumors, speculation, judgement, hate, slander, insults, suspicion and things like that? How long can you stand up to those things, without breaking, or bending to the other side, in order to get along? Do you start to believe them, or do you stay strong, fight back and prove them wrong once again? How long do you have to be strong? Can they all be wrong? Let's talk.
That's what we're talking about today at 1PM ET on The Urban Therapy with Sun Show. Check this out: https://youtu.be/Pus1rfDbwfc
