The Spirit Airlines-Buddy Pass of Friendships. The Daily Gogetemism.

Anyone who knows about traveling within the U.S. knows that Spirit-Frontier Airlines is the cheapest flight that you can afford and you are more than likely to arrive in one piece. The flight might be terrible though. You may be cramped beside someone else and there probably won't be any food served, or services granted on the plane, but you will get there. Anyone who has known someone who worked at an airport knows that they can get buddy passes that will allow you to travel for free. It's a great deal, until you find out that your boarding passes are contingent upon paying customers having priority over you. Your 1PM flight may become your 11PM flight. See, it's a great gesture, but it doesn't always turn out right. Do we choose some of our friends in this way? Don't get it? Let's talk about it.
