We hear people say all the time, that a drunk tongue speaks a sober mind. Some people take this literally and don't believe people are honest about their thoughts and feelings when they are sober. What does this mean? Does it mean that when some people are sober that they are liars and are deceptive? Maybe some are that way, but could it go for that many people? There seems to be some trouble with this way of thinking, because by the premise of this saying, the only time when you would be able to believe something that someone said would be when they are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If someone said that you were pretty, or handsome, would you believe it when they said when they were sober, or when they were high? What about if they said that you were ugly? What role does our insecurities play in this?
That's what we're talking about tonight at 7PM ET on The Daily Gogetemism Show. Check this out: https://youtu.be/H3GwI66-Nao
