Why do some people become afraid to start over as they get older? Whatis the fear about? Of course it doesn't apply to everyone, but for those who it does apply to, what is that all about?

More than likely, if you have reached middle age status, you have had to start over several times. Was it so bad? Was it so hard? Did you have to lose everything in order to start over again? Do we lose confidence as we get older, or are we afraid to even have that conversation? Whether you are talking about a relationship, a job, a house, a marriage, a life, or whatever it is, have you had bad luck with starting over? If not, why does starting over scare some people into staying in bad situations for years? Does it start when we're young, or does the fear increase over time?
