It makes no sense that people would hurt the people that hurt them, but they do it all the time. Why? Is it that hurt people hurt people? That's what people say, but I think that it's an excuse and not a very good one either. Why do we make excuses for people who do wrong? It almost sounds like we are apologizing for doing right. When someone gets kicked out of a house where they were living for free, why do we question the one who kicked them out? We don't mean to and sometimes we're just trying to get the story right, but we often have sympathy for the one who violated and got kicked out. Humanitarian instincts, I guess.
