Where Do People Go When They Leave Their Families?

Fathers leave the family. What does that really mean? Does it mean that he never had any contact with the family after a divorce, separation, or breakup? Mothers, brothers and sisters leave the family. What is the official status of a leave? Is there an announcement that people usually make? Do they just stop coming around? Do people stop expecting them? Do they stop participating, or do they stop contributing that symbolizes a family leave? People leave from up north, to move down south and some never come back to live and some rarely visit. Have they left the family? Have women who have gotten married left the family, if they start a family of their own that they concentrate on mostly and don't involve their children, have they left the family? Have you only left the family when you get angry?
