You know that when we were young, people would always tell us who we looked like. If you looked like your mother, they would say that you took after your mom. That's who you looked like. That's who you took after. The aid, if you looked like your dad. At the time, we weren't too concerned with the way that you acted, just the way that you looked. When you started to do things on your own, people would start to say that you took after someone in your family, based on something that you may have done. For example, if you played a sport really well and your dad played that sport really well...you get the picture. What about when your behavior came into question about things that were more unflattering? For example. what if you had problems reading, or paying attention at school? Who are you gonna take after with that? Let's go.
