We all know of someone who has either gotten back more money than they should have, or didn't get back as much as they should have. Some pleople get back more money than they actually made during the year. At least that's the way that it seems. Then we know people who should have been getting back a bunch of money for their tax return, but instead, wound up losing their whole return, because of student loan, or child support. Is that fair?
