In 2018, why are OUR people still acting funny about seeing a therapist when we're feeling funny? What do we have against going to see a therapist to help us with our depression, anxiety, sadness, unresolved emotional issues, historical abuse and PTSD?
Why is there still a negative stigma associated with seeking psychological help?
Black men and the doctor? Come on man! The doctor?! Yes, the damn doctor.
Why won't OUR men get regular check-ups and see what going on with them? Why do we sometimes suffer in silence with all types of physical issues that eventually kill us?
Why don't OUR women seem to have the same issues? Why do they go to see the doctor in a heartbeat, while we'll wait until we're on our deathbed to get help?
Why is it almost always too late for us?
Is there something going on with us besides our stubbornness that makes us wary of seeing a doctor on a regular basis?
What affect does it have on OUR community when OUR men don't safeguard their health better?
