How well aware are we of the school to prison Pipeline? Do we believe that it's designed to trap us?
How can it be that Black people only make up 15-20% of the American population, but account for 40% of the prison population? How can that be? Can it be that it is just a product of our inability to stay out of trouble? Is there a bigger plan in all of this that we are not aware of?
Is this just a Black thing, or do people of other races get caught in this same trap if they lack financial resources? Does it happen on the same level for those folks, or doesn't that matter?
What can we do about all of this?
