Imam W. Deen Mohammed called his followers attention to being "Christ-Like" in his 2008 Jumah khutbah during our Islamic Convention in Detroit, the last khutbah he gave to us as a nation-wide group. Imam W. Deen Mohammed often stressed to us the importance of INDEPENDENCE Day, stressing that independence is more than the party spirit of the "4th of July".
