WORDS MAKE PEOPLE to discuss “What Is it Like to be the Wife of an Imam?”
Allah has blessed the wife of an imam to learn much experiential wisdom over the many years; valuable lessons that she can share particularly with younger wives of newer imams. HOW DO WE PASS THIS WISDOM TO THE NEXT GENERATION OF WIVES MARRIED TO AN IMAM?
The wife of an imam, while supporting her husband, often she is sacrificing herself and her immediate family for the larger “family” we call community because she accepts that the imam has to lookout for the well-being of two families.
Join WORDS MAKE PEOPLE on Sunday July 16, 2017 from 1-3 p.m. (EST) as we discuss with wives of longtime imams the topic, “What Is it Like to be the Wife of an Imam?” Our guest will include Sisters Carolyn Saahir & Sister Fareedah Siddeeq (Indianapolis, IN) and Mahasin Abdullah (Nashville, TN).
