Refusing Eternal Life~
Why on 'God's green earth' would anyone refuse eternal life if it was offered by the God of Life? This is the choice that was offered by Jesus to the Rich Young Man that asked, "Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may obtain eternal life?" (Matt. 19:16).
The stumbling point for this very wealthy person was the fact that present 'things' meant more to him than some nebulous future. The spiritual identity of 'eternal life' was not sufficient for him to give up his present state of being, that is, fabulous physical wealth.
There are people even today that are making this same choice, given the opportunity that is being presented in the upcoming currency reset to aquire earth shattering wealth instead of a future filled with service, sacrifice and sorrow for a time here on earth, in favor of eternal life in the future.
The interesting thing is that God never said you couldn't have both, this because what you receive in both instances depends entirely on your spiritual identity - do you love God more than "All the tea in China", or do you love God, and being in His service, and trust Him to give you everything you need to perform that service both here on earth, and in the heavens?
As we have seen these past months we are at a cross roads, where we as a world have chosen Life rather than death, blessings rather than curses, prosperity rather than poverty. But are we willing to act on the knowledge that we have as to where we are in time, or will be refuse to trust God and believe that we are in a different future than the one we have seen in the Death Road prophecies of Revelation. Do we believe the lies we have been taught by those that would keep us enslaved, or will we through off the shackles of those lies and embrace the truth that we are in a New Reality that brings life?
