He obtained his doctorate at the University de Montreal and continued a career in biomedical research at Duke University as a post-doctoral researcher and later has led research in the private clinical sector in neuropsychiatry. He has received multiple awards for his contributions to science and public education, including the Next Generation Award by the Society for Neuroscience. His works are published in the top scientific journals of his field including PNAS and Nature Neuroscience, and his book, The Revolutionary Phenotype, has been praised by some of the top biologists of our time, including Robert Trivers from Rutgers University and Manolis Kellis from MIT. Dr. Gariépy joins us this hour for an informed discussion about COVID-19, vaccines and recent events pertaining to the subject.
