HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Returning to PNW will be Mr. Kevin Porter (author, engineer, Executive Director of 'Man Made Mentoring', and educator).  Kevin will weigh in on the specific current state of African Americans (who are statistically disproportionately impacted by societal pressures) with a focus on solutions.  Mr. Porter will also discuss specific related topics from his book: "Angry Little men: Hypermasculinity, Academic Disconnect and Mentoring African American Males". Given what is going on in society to African Americans [at all levels], this brief discussion will serve as the backdrop for a more comprehensive discourse with proposed solutions in the weeks ahead.  You are encouraged to participate in this dialog to help correct long standing issues in our society and specifically in the African American community.
