Welcome to PNW's Black History Month program with guests: Who will discuss the importance of individual/self empowerment & community activism and the role it serves for Black History. Ms. Shaquanna West - Author, Children Mentor, Book Publicist. Ms. West will discuss the importance, and several initiatives, to serve the youth in Black communities for their uplift. We will also discuss her most recent children's book and how you can publish the book that may be residing in you. Mr. Kevin Porter - community activist/leader, author, and educator will join in to facilitate this discussion. Mr. Porter is an advocate and mentor for children, especially young African American males who are at risk. This educational experience will be especially helpful for students.
