A wrongful deathe lawsuit has been filed by family. Senator Kamala Harris called for a federal investigation into Taylor's shooting death days after her case began nabbing national headlines.
"I'm calling for the Department of Justice to invesatigate Breonna Taylor's death, " the California Democrat tweeted on May 13th "Her family deserves answers."
