Parents Perspective .......... Our Children in Sports News

Parents as we all know and have read news about this school, that coach, these players, where are we parents?  Where is our voice in this entire episode of drama as it swallow up our children?  Our children can be driven into these situation unconsciously and in the end walk away with little to nothing.  Can a 17, 18, or 19 year old young man make sound and life decisions?  At what point do we as parents provide our insight, wisdom and simply be a buffer for our young athletes?
