First-team All-MVFC and team captain, Bryan Presume started all 12 games, in 2013. He led the team and third in the MVFC with 104 total tackles. He led the MVFC with 55 solo tackles, and his 104 tackles were the most by a Saluki since 2007. The talented defensive star tied for sixth in the MVFC with 12.5 TFL and blocked three kicks on the year, returning one for a touchdown. His ability to be disruptive in the backfield was evident with his 3.0 sacks. In the secondary,  he had one interception and one forced fumble to go with seven QB hurries. Presume recorded a career-high 15 tackles against Eastern Illinois, the most by a Saluki under Dale Lennon. He was named MVFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against Southeast Missouri State. A three-time CFPA honorable mention during the season.
