YSU Penguins: Stand out offensive lineman Chris Elkins

Youngstown State senior center and preseason All-American Chris Elkins was been named the Missouri Valley Football Conference's Offensive Lineman of the Week, in 2013. Elkins made the switch from guard to center seem effortless. Verstatile offensive lineman was named first-team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference the only YSU player to be named to the first team. Elkins was the first YSU offensive lineman to be recognized as first-team All-MVFC since Brad Samsa in 2008. He started all 11 games at right guard and played every MVFC snap in seven of eight games.
