Strong safety by the name of Serge Kona from Duquesne University was named NEC Defensive Player of the Year in 2011. Kona had another dominant season in 2012 and now looks to take his game to the NFL stage. Kona played in 44 games intercepting six passes for 80 yards. Very versatile safety who also spent time returning both punts and kickoff returns.
