One of the most talented running backs in the nation plays for Stony Brook in the state of New York. Miguel Maysonet has produced three straight 1,000 yard seasons since he joined the Seawolves. After transferring from HofstraUniversity where Maysonet led the Pride in rushing as a freshman in 2009 with 385 yards he has continued his rise as one of the most complete running backs in college football.
Stony Brook is currently 9-1 with their only loss coming in a closely contested contest against Syracuse losing 28-17. With one remaining Maysonet looks to continue his success in 2012 where he has been named Big South Offensive Player of the Week three times. The Riverhead, NY native is second in Championship Subdivision (FCS) averaging 165 yards per game going over 200 yards rushing in 3 of his last four games. The Seawolves are looking to finish a top the Big South Conference for the fourth time in four seasons.
