Lake Forest has won more games this season (8) than in the previous three years prior winning only seven games total. The Foresters are 8-1 in the Midwest Conference and have senior quarterback Pete Scaffidi coming off his Forester Athlete of the Week (third time total) after accounting for four touchdowns in the 35-30 win over Cornell College.
With one game left against St. Norbert (6-2) Scaffidi is just the fourth player in team history to surpass 5,000 passing yards and has already become the schools all-time leader with 54 touchdown passes and ranks third with 438 completions and fourth in passing yards with 5,099.
