UMASS MINUTEMEN OL NICK SPELLER
The Syracuse transfer Nick Speller has become fixture of stability on the offensive line for the Massachusetts Minutemen. Appearing in all 11 games at left tackle in 2011 Speller helped an offensive unit that averaged 360.1 yards of total offense. Keeping in the tradition of strong play from the tackle position Speller wears the same jersey No. 72 as 2010 second round pick for the New York Jets Vladimir Ducasse. The Minutemen entered their first season of MAC play in 2012 and are currently 0-5 and looking to get their first win this weekend versus Western Michigan on the road in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
