NFL Draft Talk with Shepherd University CB, Elijah Davis

Diamond-in-the rough, Elijah Davis III, a D2 First-Team All-American defensive back from Shepherd University. Elijah is an extremely athletic ball hawk who has a knack for returning interceptions for touchdowns. Elijah tied a D2 record by returning 4 of his 6 interceptions for touchdowns this past season in leading the nation’s Number 1 ranked defense. The 3 year starter at defensive back makes up for his slight height disadvantage with great closing speed and a 36 inch vertical leap. Davis is an intelligent football player and natural leader. He has won awards for both outstanding athletic achievements on the football field as well as academics. Davis works off the field as well helping kids and frequently mentors troubled youth and refereeing ball games.
