Diamond in the Rough: Jack Petion, Southern Connecticut LB

Undersized heading to college football from playing the defensive end position in high school, Jack Petion found success witht he Souther Connecticut Owls. The anchor and leader of the defenese particpated in the NFL Regional Combine which was held in New Jersey on February  25th and the Fordham Pro Day on March 7th. Walk-on opportunities at Rutgers, UConn, Temple, Cincinnati, Michigan State but could not afford it. Transfered from Cheyney University then transferred to Southern Connecticut for my last 2 seasons of my career.
